Lima City Councilman Derry Glenn provided people with warm Thanksgiving meals for the 17th year. Lima Towers residents and others who attended were served a free Thanksgiving dinner. They also held a raffle to give people the chance to win prizes. Glenn says the smiles he sees is what makes this event so good, and everyone involved is always eager for this time of year to come again.

A Lima City Councilman is urging the public to share information to help catch the person or people responsible for the shooting death of a 22-year-old Lima man Thursday Night.  Koby Bryant was found dead in a yard with gunshot wounds at a home in the 600 block of E 4th St. just before 10 p.m. Thursday.  The detectives handling the case, don’t have any suspects right now. 6th ward Councilman Derry Glenn says he has been fielding a lot of phone calls after the homicide and he says  when this happens in his ward, it hits close to home for him.

6th Ward Councilman Derry Glenn will be holding a meeting to talk with any Lima landlord on how to better relations and services with their tenants. He says that the 6th ward has the most concentration of rental properties in the city and he has been receiving calls from individuals about the increase in rents and lack of repairs to properties. His goal is to spark a change.
