Delphos St. John's School officials continue the fire clean-up and update parents on what school will look like next week. In a Facebook video update, Father Jeff Walker says that school will be in session on Monday, October 28, 2024, as the air and building have been deemed safe, but there will be changes to the school day. Elementary and junior high students will be physically back inside the classroom on Monday, while high school students will not return to the building and attend class via remote learning at home all next week.Â
Students at Delphos St. John's will not be returning to school this week after an electrical fire broke out early Monday morning. The fire was contained to a maintenance room, but the smoke and soot from the fire spread throughout the school. Servpro will be working on cleaning the school building and the vents for the rest of this week. When the students return on Monday, things will be a little different for a while.

As students across the country find ways to fill their free time as they learn from home, a set of triplets in Delphos engineer a project that could equal anything they would have learned in school. Zane, Andrew, and Luke Bockey have always enjoyed building forts in their backyard, but when the pandemic forced Delphos St. John's to switch from classroom learning to e-learning, the brothers have some extra time on their hands, so they found a project that was a little bigger. The boys started to build a log cabin, which was kind of a surprise to their parents.

For many, like the teachers at Delphos St. John's, that meant setting up their lessons online.

As someone who faced addiction head-on, he speaks with students about his experiences and motivates them to make a decision that could change their lives, for the better - and avoiding substances that can affect how they feel.
