On day two of the trial, family members of the victim took to the stand, as well as medical experts that examined the young girl. After the testimony, Judge Terri Kohlrieser ruled that Boedicker is guilty of three counts each of rape and sexual battery charges for having sexual contact with a young girl when she was 10 years old in 2018 and again in 2021 when she was 12. Boedicker took the stand and said that the victim's family members were forcing the girl to make the allegations against him. He will be sentenced at a later date.
As the U.S. Government continues to move more of their IT infrastructure to a cloud-based system, one Ohio senator want to make sure that the information stays secure. Experts says using a computing cloud for data storage is more secure than the old way of storing information digitally. But Rob Portman still has some concerns and has been working through the Senate’s Homeland Security committee to pass an amendment that would increase funding to continuously monitor cloud system for hacking threats.
The trial for a Convoy woman facing murder charges now reached Day three in the Allen County Courthouse. Vicky Shellabarger's trial is scheduled to run the rest of this week. She is facing Murder, Involuntary Manslaughter, and Endangering Children charges. In April of 2018, Shellabarger’s daughter Madilynn was found not breathing in a Delphos apartment and later pronounced dead at the hospital.
