A new Van Wert factory is ready to roll after breaking ground a little over a year ago. Tekniplex invited local officials to check out their 8th specialty fiber factory. The multimillion-dollar plant will make egg cartons from 100% natural, typically recycled paper and cardboard fibers. The Van Wert facility has the latest cutting-edge technology, which will be used to make durable containers for their customers.

A west-central Ohio bank has officially opened their doors and expanded to serve residents on the east side of Lima! First National Bank hosted the grand opening celebration of their second Lima facility located at 1991 Bellefontaine Road where banking services as well as mortgage and commercial lending departments will be offered. Many Lima leaders including Mayor Sharetta Smith and Lima Allen County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Jed Metzger, attended Monday's celebration as services from the west side location on Eastown Road are closer to home for east side residents.

A major renovation project of a historic building in downtown Lima capped off Tuesday afternoon. A "ground opening" ceremony for the building at 43 Town Square was held, inviting community members to take a step inside the newly-renovated building and get a closer look at the apartments that are inside. With the opening of the building, many of the 47 new apartments are already leased out.
