LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A west-central Ohio bank has officially opened its doors and expanded to serve residents on the east side of Lima!
First National Bank hosted the grand opening celebration of their second Lima facility located at 1991 Bellefontaine Road, where banking services as well as mortgage and commercial lending departments will be offered. Many Lima leaders, including Mayor Sharetta Smith and Lima Allen County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Jed Metzger, attended Monday's celebration as services from the west side location on Eastown Road are closer to home for east side residents.
"Our mission is improving lives through community banking, and we wanted to be on both sides because we knew that with having a location on both sides, we would be able to serve both sides of the community, both on this side and the other side. It just makes sense to do it at this time instead of waiting. Now is the time for us to pretty much make a presence in the Lima area, so now is the time for us to move to the east side," says Martrice Smith, Branch Manager, First National Bank.
The facility is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
