In a continued effort to humanely reduce the population of unowned, free-roaming cats within city limits, the City of Findlay is allocating an additional $5,000 from already appropriated funds to support the ongoing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program.
In an effort to address the growing population of feral cats in the community, the City of Findlay is pleased to announce a collaboration with the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County and VCA Findlay Animal Hospital to implement a “Trap-Neuter-Return” (TNR) program.

ELIDA, OH (WLIO) - For the third year, the Ohio SPCA and Humane Society is raising money to support their animals with a yard sale.
Back in November, 23 shih tzus were rescued from an abusive environment, and since then all have made full recoveries, and all but one six-year-old male have found forever homes.
However, The Ohio SPCSA & Humane Society says they have seen an increased number of animals rescued from unsuitable homes in this past month. With many of them sick or injured, the shelter is seeking monetary donations to help cover their medical costs to get them healthy enough to be adopted.
