The Grand Lake Task Force received information that a Cooper Rademacher was wanted by authorities from Williams County, Ohio, for a Failure to Appear Warrant. The Grand Lake Task Force also had information that this subject may be in the Wapakoneta area. The Grand Lake Task Force was able to locate the subject driving and coordinated with the Wapakoneta Police Department to make a traffic stop.

29-year-old Quintez Burns was wanted by law enforcement and Crime Stoppers after he failed to appear for his trial in September of 2022 for an alleged incident that happened in 2021. Investigators say there was a fight following a basketball game at the YMCA that left a man seriously injured. Burns was also previously scheduled to have a change of plea hearing earlier in summer of 2022 but instead asked for a new attorney after he says they didn't see eye to eye on his defense.

The Lima Police Department was called out to a home in the 2400 block of Lakewood Avenue, around 9:30 a.m. on New Year's Eve morning, after a person looking after the home while the residents were away found two dead canines. They were both skinned and left in the driveway. The person that noticed the canines told police that they were not there at 10 o'clock the night before when they were at the home last.

As deputies approached Darr, shots rang out with one striking a house just 10 feet from the deputies and Darr. Multiple law enforcement officers responded, and casings were found on Prospect Avenue and fragmented pieces of a bullet from the back of the house, but no shooter was found. The Lima Fire Department received a call just after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning of heavy smoke coming from a home at 125 W. O'Connor Avenue. They found extensive fire damage to the rear and upstairs of the house. We are told all occupants left the building prior to arrival with no injuries. Lima fire investigators were on sight as the blaze is believed to be suspicious. American Township was also called in to help out.

A possible electrical fire could be to blame for severely damaging a northside Lima home Tuesday night. Lima firefighters were called out 567 Hazel Avenue around 9:30 p.m.  The two people that lived at the home were able to get out without injuries.  Investigators say the fire started in the attic, but because of fire, smoke, and water damage the home is unlivable.  The Red Cross was called in to help the residents with temporary housing.   The fire is still under investigation.

The Lima Fire Department was called out to 618 East Vine Street just before midnight on Tuesday. Flames were showing when they arrived and they called in more firefighters to help. The home was vacant, and with the vegetation overgrown around the house, firefighters concentrated on the exterior of the house before moving in.
