Only 240 entry tickets will be sold. Each $40 ticket includes light hors d'oeuvres, a drink ticket, one paddle valid for 20 auction rounds, and the opportunity to win prizes such as designer purses, electronics, date nights, and more. Additional paddles will be available for purchase at the event.

The Community Enrichment Dinner is scheduled to take place Thursday, October 21st at 5:00 PM at the Lima Veteran's Memorial Civic & Convention Center. This year the event will be headlined with a musical group instead of a guest speaker. "Black Violin" will be performing for the event, with a special guest appearance by the Lima Area Youth Orchestra.
The Youth Orchestra is sponsored by the Lima Noon Optimists and the Lima Symphony Orchestra. LSO is hosting their annual family concert this Sunday at 3 pm. This year’s theme is “Pirate’s Life for Me”. The performance is general admission at $10.
It has been nurturing budding musicians for more than 50 years and students are still working hard to be a part of it. The Lima Area Youth Orchestra was created in 1967 in partnership by the Lima Symphony and Lima Optimist Club. Wednesday, the current students participating were recognized at the annual awards luncheon. The students are from around the region and must audition and be accepted to get a chair in the symphony.
