LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - The Lima Noon Optimist Club will celebrate the 75th annual Home Show this year, marking a major milestone for the long-standing event. The Home Show, which started as a fundraiser in 1950, will take place at the Allen County Fairgrounds, with all four buildings filled with fun for the entire family.
New to this year's event are craft and home-based business vendors, alongside the traditional household vendors offering home renovation ideas. Funds raised from the Home Show will benefit various projects supported by the Lima Noon Optimist Club.
Cindy Nelson, a member of the club, emphasized the importance of the event, saying, "This is the primary fundraiser for the Lima Noon Optimist Club that supports Safety City and the Lima Area Youth Orchestra. This is how we raise the funds to continue supporting the community."
The Home Show will be held Friday through Sunday, March 7-9. Admission is $2 for anyone 12 years of age and older. For more information about the Home Show and the Lima Noon Optimist Club, visit LimaOptimist.com.
