LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Bugs, dinosaurs, puffins, and more piqued the interest of some Lima City School students this week.
The Lima Junior Service League handed out five hundred free pasta dinners to the community Wednesday evening at 20th Century Lanes bowling alley. The Lima Junior Service League normally distributes books to elementary students in the area during both the fall and spring. However, since school was cut short, they wanted to come up with another project.
The Lima Junior Service League distributed some books to students at South Science Technology Magnet on Tuesday.
A Lima organization is pumping books into local elementary schools this week.
Children were excited to take home new books today. The Lima Junior Service League gave out free books to all 1st and 2nd graders at Independence Elementary.
