Although being allergic to pine trees is relatively uncommon, there could be other allergens lurking. Allergy specialists say real trees can have weed pollen and mold. Even taking in the comforting pine smell can irritate your sinuses and lungs because of the chemical compounds present. If your family goes the artificial route, doctors add allergens like dust and mold can build up on the tree in storage.

They found that current smokers had a much greater spike of nicotine in their blood levels and much sharper relief from craving symptoms when smoking than when using both the low- and higher-dose nicotine pouches. That spike of nicotine measurable in the blood occurs about five minutes after smoking, explained Keller-Hamilton. With nicotine pouches, it is a much more gradual process like other smokeless tobacco products.

The Allen County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau has examined Mr Varrga's vehicle and it appears an excessive amount of carbon monoxide was leaking into the passenger compartment during the inspection. It is believed Mr. Varga stopped at the location he was found to rest while traveling through the area. Next of kin has been notified of the coroner's findings.

The National Fire Protection Association says nearly 9,000 home fires every year involve grills, often from combustible materials placed too closely. All propane grills should be checked for gas leaks and cleaned often. Grilling should only be done in open, outdoor locations at least 10 feet away from objects. The lima fire department is passing along advice to ensure you are firing up the grill and not your home instead.

As we change the time, the Lima Fire Department says it's a good habit to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. You should have a smoke detector on every floor of the home, and new building codes require one alarm per bedroom. Lima Fire Inspector Warren Pughsley says he pulls up to too many fires where a smoke alarm was there but didn't work. He says homeowners need to be testing them every month.
