The members of St. John Catholic Church in Delphos are reaffirming their faith through an event that they haven’t done for years. Sunday afternoon, the parish started a 40 Hours of Adoration, where different members of the parish will come to the church to pray each hour. The devotion of Forty Hours originated six centuries ago in the catholic church.  The parish members will spend time in prayer before the Eucharistic Lord to seek help and create a deeper connection in their faith.

Food, fun, and Fall were all in the air in Ottoville as their catholic parish continues a long-standing tradition. The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church held their annual festival. The event was scaled back a little bit this year, but organizers continue to find new activities for people to enjoy. Which include many games for the kids, live music, and of course, the big highlight of the festival the beef and chicken dinners with all the homemade fixings. The proceeds of the festival go back to help the church, which will be celebrating a major milestone next year. Â

There is something for everyone during the 72nd year of the event. Games and entertainment for the kids, raffles, and drinks for the adults, and food and fireworks for all to enjoy. They will be giving away 72 dollars every hour the festival is running, and they will have the Ohio MIA POW wall on display. The festival has become more than a fundraiser over the past seven decades. It's become an annual tradition for people to meet up in Wapakoneta over the 4th of July holiday.
The St. Gerard Festival is back in full force and thousands came out to enjoy the live music, games, and food including their famous chicken wings. The festival also brought back the rides the kids enjoy. After scaling way back the last couple of years because of the pandemic, organizers are glad to see the Lima community having fun while supporting St. Gerard.
