According to state troopers on scene, a silver Chevrolet was attempting to turn left onto northbound Roush Road from Reservoir Road and failed to yield for a gray Honda traveling westbound on Reservoir Road, and the vehicles crashed. Both vehicles suffered extensive front-end damage. Bath Township first responders transported all three individuals involved in the crash to Lima Memorial hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Findlay City Schools is pleased to announce The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees awarded the district a $100,000 grant for implementation of the SafeDefend™ active shooter protection system. The Findlay City School Board approved the purchase and installation of SafeDefend™ at the August Board of Education meeting.

Lima sits near the epicenter which is expected to draw people to our area. For the first time in over 200 years, the Buckeye State will experience a total solar eclipse in April 2024. This will look entirely different than the partial eclipse you may recall in 2017. Lima sits near the epicenter of the event and is a prime location to draw folks to the area.

At 8:55 AM, first responders were called to a single car rollover on State Route 309 between Elida and Delphos. The Volvo was traveling east on 309 when it veered off the road and rolled before coming to rest in the ditch. The driver was the only occupant and had to be extricated from the vehicle.
