Don't be alarmed if you see smoke or flames coming from the Lima Refinery in the next couple of days.
Cenovus Lima Refinery officials report that on Thursday(6/16/22) and Friday(6/17/22), emergency response personnel will be at the refinery to conduct live fire training. It will be held at a section of the refinery complex dedicated to fire training. Smoke or flames may be visible. Cenovus conducts regular training exercises to test and improve their emergency response.
