Shoppers can browse a wide selection of items, including children’s books, adult hardcovers and paperbacks, CDs, and DVDs. The sale is open to the public and serves as more than just a bargain opportunity—it’s also a way to connect with the community.
“It’s just a fun way for people to express themselves and for the library to connect with patrons in a way that’s not just about books,” said Liz Smith, head of Public Relations at the Lima Public Library.
As ONU’s PR program head, Agozzino has taught over 16 different classes within the major and developed a social media minor for any major on campus. She has received numerous awards for teaching, including the international Pearson Award for Innovation in Teaching with Technology.

This is the 15th year that a network of 200 food banks, including the West Ohio Food Bank, have been taking part in "Hunger Action Month". The local food bank serves an eleven-county area by supporting dozens of food pantries, holding monthly distributions at the facility, and helping anyone who is in need of food to put on the table.
With more and more people coming into the library, they have gone back to pre-pandemic hours. They talked with patrons and found out people wanted to come in earlier and spend time in the library. People are once again using the computers, browsing through the books, and taking time to once again enjoy what the library has to offer.

The West Ohio Food Bank held a food and resource fair to help people get the food they need as well as key information on resources in their area.
The Community Blood Center and Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center held the blood drive in the Physicians Café Conference Room. Residents who were interested in giving blood could sign up beforehand or appear during the event to donate. The event also served as a reminder of the increasing need for blood donations, especially after this past spring season.
The West Ohio Food Bank, Walmart, and Sam’s Club are in the midst of their campaign where customers and members can donate at the check-out line or online with purchases. There are 12 Walmart stores and one Sam’s Club in the West Ohio Food Banks 11 county coverage area. Donations at these locations will go directly back to the food bank.
