“Fight Hunger – Spark Change” is a way that you can help put food on the table for those who are finding it hard to do so.
The West Ohio Food Bank, Walmart, and Sam’s Club are in the midst of their campaign where customers and members can donate at the check-out line or online with purchases. There are 12 Walmart stores and one Sam’s Club in the West Ohio Food Bank's 11 county coverage area. Donations at these locations will go directly back to the food bank.
Jason Aldrich, WOFB Communications & Public Relations Manager adds, “You have the opportunity to donate, buy a specific product that Feeding America, Walmart, and Sam’s Club have marked that will go toward the Fight Hunger Spark Change campaign. Or you can even donate online it’s as easy as that. But again, we just ask folks go ahead and say yes when they’re asked to donate to feeding America because ultimately as part of this campaign that money is going to come back to us”.
Donations for “Fight Hunger – Spark Change” will be taken through May 15, 2022.
