Jason Risner, executive director of Primrose, said the expo helps residents “age in place” by connecting them with care partners and resources. “Sometimes in order for that to happen, we have to get some care partners involved, and education and knowing about what’s available is so important to make that happen,” Risner said.

A local senior living program is giving residents a chance to connect directly with local government.
It was a fiesta at Kessler Estates as dozens celebrated Cinco de Mayo.
“So this is Tri-M Music Honor Society. Basically, it's almost like a community service organization, but kind of music-related,” said Skyler Slaise, a senior member of the group. “Today we're here at Springview, which is a nursing home, and we're just gonna be playing some music.”
Kessler Estates Senior Living hosted its quarterly Senior Health and Wellness Expo on Wednesday, providing residents with valuable resources available in the area.
