LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Kessler Estates Senior Living hosted its quarterly Senior Health and Wellness Expo on Wednesday, providing residents with valuable resources available in the area.
The event featured a variety of health professionals, including hospice and home health care providers, as well as vision and other health care specialists. Attendees were encouraged to learn about the wide range of support services designed to assist seniors as they age.

Kessler Estates officials emphasized the importance of the expo, noting that many local seniors may not be aware of the support services available to them while continuing to live independently at home.
"Certainly every senior would rather be able to remain at home, and so a lot of the services that we collaborate with are home health and hospice services," said Georgiana Saffle, executive director of Kessler Estates. "(We have) just a wide variety of support services that not only are utilized here at Kessler Estates, but also out in the community. These are businesses that they could come and frequent at their own place of business, but sometimes they don't know that they're available, that they're out there to be able to maintain their own healthy lifestyle, to stay at home even longer."
