LIMA (WLIO) — Lincolnview High School is headed back to the state tournament for the first time since 2022 after defeating Margaretta 9-2 in the Division 6 regional final at Bowling Green.

The offense continued to roll in the fourth inning when Makayla Marsee delivered a two-run single to right field, extending the Lancers' advantage to 4-0.

Lincolnview added its final run in the seventh on an RBI single from Ansley Schwab. Schwab finished with four hits in the victory.

Meanwhile, sophomore ace Ila Hughes turned in another dominant performance in the circle. Hughes struck out 16 batters, including the final hitter of the game, helping secure the regional championship.
