Lima City Council approved a historic designation for the Riverfront One property, a move that could help secure tax credits for a $3 million redevelopment project featuring housing and commercial space.

The City of Lima is using Community Development Block Grant funding to demolish abandoned and unsafe homes as part of its neighborhood revitalization efforts.
