Delphos St. John's Schools were closed Monday after a fire breaks out in the school's maintenance area. School officials report that just after 2 AM Monday, personnel was notified of a fire alarm in the school building. Delphos and American Township Fire Departments responded and began putting out an electrical fire in maintenance.

Some Delphos residents got a head start tailgating this morning while enjoying a perfect October day! The Meadows of Delphos threw a tailgate party to get their residents excited for some Friday night football. The Delphos Saint John's and Jefferson marching bands and cheerleaders, along with a few members from both the Blue Jays and Wildcats football teams, came out to fill the air with community pep. The grill was fired up as well for hot dogs and hamburgers, with residents even partaking in games of jenga and cornhole.

Students from both Delphos Jefferson and St. John’s lined up their cars for their senior cruise night and parade. After the ride through town, seniors picked up a goodie bag with some awesome surprises inside. The graduates were happy to see involvement from the community in their graduation. 

Students at Delphos St. John's got a lesson in the dangers of distracted driving ahead of this year's prom. First responders put on a mock crash for St. John's high school students to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted and drunk driving. The demonstration is meant to put in perspective just how messy and life-altering crashes can be.
