DELPHOS, OH (WLIO) - Some Delphos residents got a head start tailgating this morning while enjoying a perfect October day!
The Delphos St. John's and Delphos Jefferson marching bands and cheerleaders, along with a few members from both the Blue Jays and Wildcats football teams, came out to fill the air with community pep.
The Meadows of Delphos threw a tailgate party to get their residents excited for some Friday night football. The grill was fired up as well for hot dogs and hamburgers, with residents even partaking in games of jenga and cornhole.

With everyone coming together, today was a great opportunity to strengthen community bonds and get ready for a fun night of football!
"It's super important for our residents to see, you know, what's also happening in our community and for, you know, the kids and the community to come out and enjoy the weather, enjoy, you know, the food that we have available, and, again, just having everybody experience a good time out here," said Stacy Thompson, director of sales at The Meadows of Delphos.

On the calendar, the Meadows of Delphos will be hosting Deaf Dog Coffee + Co. next Wednesday from 8 a.m. until noon.
