Police arrested a Lima man following a standoff on Thursday night. 32-year-old Jordan Jennings is being held in the Allen County Jail on charges of suspicion of strangulation and other outstanding warrants. Lima detectives say around 6 p.m. Thursday night, officers were called out to a home on Orena for a domestic violence incident. The victim says that Jennings assaulted her and was inside the home, refusing to come out.

An Allen County murder suspect met before a judge for an arraignment today. 31-year-old Gervens Justilien appeared in court Friday for his arraignment for a murder charge back in March. He was captured by the Rhode Island United States Marshals Service on March 29, 2024.

She was found dead on March 10th at a home on Makley Drive from strangulation and blunt force trauma.
