The Lima Community Aquatic Park is now accepting registrations for its summer swimming lessons for children. Officials say the classes are designed to help participants build confidence and improve their swimming skills at a variety of experience levels.
The SAFY Drop-In Center in Lima is inviting families to attend open houses this week to learn more about its summer programming and youth support services. The center provides respite care, socialization opportunities and therapeutic skill-building programs for teens ages 12 to 17.

A local community center is calling on people to support children in their area for the price of a bit of chicken. The Bradfield Community Center held a chicken carry out fundraiser to help raise money for their summer program. After a period of not being able to offer summer activities for children in our area, the center was able to bring the program back last year so that kids can continue to grow outside of their schools.
