It has become a holiday tradition in the Lima area. The South Side Christian Church's "Holiday Treasures" bazaar is at the end of this week. Members of the Disciple's women's group at the church work all year crafting and creating. The bazaar dates back to the 1950s, raising money for local non-profits, and it also provides fellowship for those who work on the sale. Members say they are blessed to be able to help others with the sale.

There will always be a need for EMTs and paramedics to help people in an emergency. Mercy Health Saint Rita's has a program in place to help train the new generation of those professionals. We learned more about that program for the latest in our "Growing STEM" series.

The Relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis and St. Manuel González García were on display for worshipers to admire and pray to. The relics serve as a reminder of God's love and his power, and how these relics served both blessed Acutis and Saint García. Students from Saint John's were able to also observe the relics and learn more about the lives of Acutis and García.

Waynesfield-Goshen senior and FFA student, Brody Barrington, shaved his mullet today in front of the entire student body as a promise he made for the FFA project. The Waynesfield-Goshen High FFA Chapter decided to raise money for the Saint Jude's Children's Hospital in honor of National FFA Week, and Brody volunteered to shave his entire mullet off if he and his classmates raised one-thousand dollars or more.
