St. Paul AME Bible School learns a lesson of faith with the help of a firetruck

LIMA, OHIO (WLIO) - St. Paul AME had a special instructor for their Bible School on Saturday. Go To The World Ministry brought one of their fire trucks to Lima’s historic church to talk about the saving nature of Jesus and how it is much like the firefighters who save others from fires every day. The other fire truck they own was sent to ground zero on 9/11, and while it arrived too late to save anyone, it is a teaching tool the ministry uses to help spread the message of Christ.

“There is so much going on in the world that attracts us away from faith and our connection with the gospel. But the gospel is available, and the message is available for everyone to join, and it gets rid of the potential for disaster for eternal life. Whatever we do here is small compared to what we do for eternity. And we have to make sure eternity is guaranteed, and the only one that can do that is Jesus Christ, our Savior,” says Dr. Carey Girgis, President of Go to the World.
