The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a threat made against staff members of the Job and Family Services office.

A spokesperson for Congressman Jordan issued this statement: "Congressman Jordan will always prioritize the safety of his staff, family, and OH-04 residents. We take threats very seriously and are thankful for the swift actions of local, state, and federal first responders."

The school has been cleared, multiple times. There is no active shooter and there is no evidence that there had ever been one at the school. There were absolutely no injuries. In cities, it swarms outside buildings and lands on pedestrians. It excretes a sticky substance called honeydew that can collect on outdoor furniture. The sap-sucking insects are also a threat to grapes and other agricultural crops, which is raising alarms this summer in wine countries across many eastern states.

The week starts off dry, but we have two storm systems set to move through the area over the next week bringing rain and storm chances.

A mild, windy, and damp start to the day with sprinkles and drizzle around. Any showers should end around noon. Clouds give way to plenty of sunshine by the middle to late afternoon. Highs will top out between 65 and 70° with a breezy west wind.
