FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO)— Liberty-Benton head football coach Scott Garlock has announced his retirement after a decade of success with the Eagles.
Garlock steps down fresh off a season in which Liberty-Benton captured the Blanchard Valley Conference title and advanced to the regional semifinals.
The 2025 BVC Coach of the Year finishes his career with a 94–33 record over 10 seasons spanning two stints leading the program.
Under Garlock’s leadership, the Eagles won three consecutive conference championships in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
His tenure was marked by consistent success on the field and the establishment of a winning culture that will be remembered by players, staff and the community.
Liberty-Benton will now begin the search for its next head coach as it looks to continue the legacy Garlock leaves behind.
