BLUFFTON, Ohio (WLIO) — Bluffton saw its three-game winning streak come to an end Saturday, falling 35–7 to Mount St. Joseph at Salzman Stadium.
The Beavers trailed early but found momentum late in the first quarter when freshman running back Jamarrion Banks broke free through the hole, spun off a tackle and sprinted deep into Lions territory to set up a new set of downs.
Bluffton couldn’t capitalize on that drive, but continued to push in the second quarter. Damien Brockington ripped off a big gain to move the chains inside the 30.
Then on fourth down, quarterback Tywaun Clark connected with Wapakoneta graduate Braydon Hower to convert and keep the drive alive.
But Mount St. Joseph kept control throughout, handing Bluffton its first conference loss of the season.
