BLUFFTON (WLIO) — The Bluffton men continued their strong stretch, knocking off Manchester 84-70 in the first of two meetings this season.
The Beavers, winners of four of their last five entering the night, built control in the first half behind Nevin Robson and Ian Snelling. Snelling knocked down a midrange jumper, while Robson scored in transition and off second-chance opportunities.
Robson led Bluffton with 18 points, and William Layfield added 12 as the Beavers used balanced scoring and extra possessions to pull away down the stretch and secure the 14-point win.
