BLUFFTON, OH (WLIO) - Bluffton defeated Lincolnview 45–35 in a Northwest Conference girls basketball matchup Tuesday night.
Lincolnview got on the board first when junior Destiny Breese knocked down a 3-pointer from the top of the key to give the Lady Lancers an early lead.
Bluffton answered a few possessions later as Greta Myers spun through the defense and finished at the rim.
The game remained tightly contested throughout the first half. Lincolnview briefly pulled ahead when Annabel Horstman found space inside the lane and scored to put the Lancers up three.
Bluffton responded behind senior Macy Schaadt, who sparked a run by rebounding her own miss and converting the putback.
Schaadt followed with another basket moments later, scoring on a midrange shot off a drive-and-kick to swing momentum back to the Pirates.
Bluffton maintained control in the second half and pulled away to secure the 10-point victory.
