Kalida’s Mia Burgei signs with Findlay track and field

KALIDA, Ohio (WLIO) — Mia Burgei is taking her talents to the next level.
The Kalida Wildcats senior signed her letter of intent to continue her education and track and field career at University of Findlay.
Burgei has put together an impressive career for the Wildcats, earning All-Ohio honors twice during her time in Kalida.
Last season, Burgei placed seventh in both the discus and shot put at the state tournament. She also claimed the 2025 regional championship in shot put.
Her personal records include a throw of 40 feet, 2 inches in shot put and 131 feet in discus.
Congratulations to Mia Burgei on her commitment and the next chapter of her athletic career.
