DEFIANCE Ohio (WLIO) — Ottawa-Glandorf continued its unbeaten start to the season in convincing fashion, rolling past Bowling Green 62–37 in the second game of the Grube Holiday Classic in Defiance.
The Titans entered the matchup at 5–0 and showed why early, controlling the paint and setting the tone from the opening quarter. Brody Fortman got Ottawa-Glandorf going offensively, turning over his defender and connecting on a hook shot for two of his 17 points on the night. Despite the early basket, O-G trailed by one in the opening minutes.
Nolan Duling quickly made his presence felt inside. The 6-foot-6 big man finished an easy lay-in to tie the game at 11, igniting a run that swung momentum firmly in the Titans’ favor.
Ottawa-Glandorf continued to find success by moving the ball. Royce Ellerbrock knocked down a three-pointer from beyond the arc, pushing the Titans out to a four-point advantage and forcing Bowling Green to play from behind.
The Titans then went back to work on the glass. Duling cleaned up an offensive rebound and finished through contact, earning an and-one opportunity. He converted at the free-throw line as part of a dominant performance that saw him finish with 19 points.
The Titans cruised to the 62–37 win and improved to 6–0 on the season, while Bowling Green fell to 3–4.
