WBL (WLIO) — The Western Buckeye League released its all-conference teams, highlighting standout seasons on both the boys and girls sides.

For the boys, Shawnee’s Beckett and Trevick Bertke share Player of the Year honors after leading the Indians to a league title. Head coach Mark Triplett earned Coach of the Year for the second straight season. Logan Markley (Bath), Josiah Schlatter (Defiance), Brody Fortman (Ottawa-Glandorf), and Xavier Kelly (Van Wert) joined them on the first team.

On the girls side, unbeaten league champion Ottawa-Glandorf saw Karsyn Erford named Player of the Year, with Troy Yant taking Coach of the Year honors. First-team selections include Rachel Rammel (Celina), Lilly Sifrit (Elida), Ava Gadson (Shawnee), Sophia Menker (St. Marys), and Madison McKee (Ottawa-Glandorf).
