Lima Central Catholic sweeps Jefferson to stay unbeaten in NWC play

LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Lima Central Catholic kept its strong start in Northwest Conference play rolling Thursday night, sweeping Jefferson in straight sets.
The Thunderbirds built momentum early in the third set with an ace from Alyssa Donley, followed by a kill from Lily Whittaker to stretch the lead.
Neena McGue added a powerful strike, and senior Tatum Miller came up with a key block to keep Jefferson’s attack in check.
LCC closed it out with a 25–19, 25–14, 25–7 victory, improving to 2–0 in conference play. Jefferson remains in search of its first league win.
