Even members who have been around for years still feel like they grow through the program each year they come back.

"This is my third year. The first two years I did non-livestock, and this year I did livestock, so it's actually my first time showing. I learned a lot this past year and made a lot more friends and them teaching me what to do," said Jayden Metzger, a 4H member.

The family tradition of showing animals and achieving success is shared by many attendees.

"It teaches you some really cool life lessons; it teaches you about hard work, and if you work hard, you can achieve amazing things. When my dad was little, he used to show market hogs, so it's just really special to me because I can keep that going," stated Zandry Williams, a 4H member.

The beloved fair brings people together of all ages to serve as a reminder of the importance of agriculture and values in the county. For more information on tickets and events to come, visit auglaizecountyfair.org.
