ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The change in weather didn't keep people away from their scheduled pickup of Thanksgiving food and hygiene products.
500 hundred families signed up for the Cricket distribution and the wireless provider was happy to provide the needed items. Families received a bag of personal hygiene things like toothpaste, soap, and shampoo. They also got a chicken and other food staples. Store representatives say they wanted to give back.
Bob Rose, is an indirect sales representative with Cricket Wireless says, “We know we are part of the community and we wouldn’t exist without them and it’s super important for Cricket Wireless to give back. And make sure that those folks that support us every year that we’re giving back to them when they need it most.”
The West Ohio Food Bank was on hand to assist on Friday and says the next scheduled distribution will be Monday, December 4th at the Kibby Street location.
