It was an early Monday morning for Bath firefighters after the report of a mobile home fire.
The call came down just after 1 a.m. to 2145 N. Dixie Highway, lot number 49. Chief Joe Kitchen says the mobile home was heavily involved with fire and smoke showing. No one was home at the time and there were no injuries. Chief Kitchen says the damage was around $10,000.
Fire departments from Lima, Beaverdam, and Perry Township were brought in to help. No word on what was the cause, firefighters spent about three hours on the scene. The renter of the home had no insurance and the Red Cross is helping out.
