A special gift

After losing his mom to breast cancer, Logan Buehler wanted to send his mom a special gift.

"He wanted to do something for his momma on the anniversary of her passing and purple was her favorite color so that's why we went with purple," says Diane Lee, Mother of Allison Lee Buehler. 

Diane says that coping with the loss is still hard. But, she encourages anyone going through something similar to stay positive.

"She fought it for 5 1/2 years very bravely. Every day we have reminders of her,  her son has just been helpful because she lives on in him and we're just so very proud to have had her in our lives for 31 years,"  says Lee. 

Logan says he hopes to keep this a tradition for years to come. 

"I love you and I miss you & I hope that you enjoyed the balloons that were let off," says Logan Buehler.
