Together they can face any challenges in helping those with developmental disabilities.
It was a day of thank yous as the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities recognized all those who partner with them in serving their clients. This years theme, "It's Better Together". The partnerships help with housing, education, employment, home health, and more to assist individuals in their daily lives.
"Allen County Board's one that supports community integration for the individuals that we serve so allowing our staff the flexibility to work within, flexibility and community allow the individuals to live a life just like everybody else," explained Scott DeLong, Champaign Residential Services president.
The "Very Special Arts" dance group performed for those in attendance at the annual partnership luncheon. Very Special Arts Ohio works to promote the enrichment of art for all abilities across all artistic mediums.
