LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - 6th Ward Councilman Derry Glenn’s 16th Annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday.

Thousands of easter eggs were scattered for kids and families to find. Glenn partnered up with Team Outreach Lima to make this happen. With community resources, giveaways, raffles, and even 4 golden eggs containing 25 dollars each in them, each child was able to hunt for eggs and spend time with their friends and families. This has been a tradition for 16 years, so many locals said they were excited to be a part of the annual hunt.

"We're so excited. We are going to continue doing this every year and we'd like to thank everyone who helped support this. You know, Quincy People, Denise James, all of them people came out and helped out with this. And, we will continue to do this, all of us coming together, we love it," says Derry Glenn, 6th Ward City Councilman for the City of Lima.

Each family left with candy, prizes, and some excitement for Easter.
