June 12, 2025, Press Release from Allen County Court of Common Pleas Probate & Juvenile Divisions:
LIMA, Ohio - The Probate and Juvenile divisions of the Allen County Common Pleas Court will be closed on Friday June 13th for purposes of conducting their annual meeting and employee in-service training. The annual meeting is typically a once a year opportunity for Judge Kohlrieser to meet with his entire staff at one time in one place, to communicate and implement court wide policy updates, review operational performance over the past year, set goals for the ensuing year, recognize staff members for years of service and individual achievement; and for staff to engage in training and team building exercises that enhances their ability to effectively provide for and support the administration of justice within Allen County.
This year’s training will be conducted offsite at the Lima Masonic Center located at 2165 N. Cole Street from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Ottawa Metro Park. It will include morning presentations from Cornerstone of Hope on managing grief, loss, and trauma as well as, afternoon teambuilding and administrative sessions led by Dr. Andrea Guice and various court personnel.
