LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Allen County Veterans Service Commission will hold its second annual "Operation Christmas Cheer" party Saturday, Dec. 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free event is open to all veterans and their family members and will take place at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in downtown Lima. Attendees can enjoy food, gifts, giveaways, and resources for veterans’ benefits. The Lima Salvation Army will also donate new toys for children. Santa will stop by from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for photos.
Proof of military service is required to attend.
