"The whole nine yards with everything in terms of job posting, and then once we find that individual for you, we have incentives to help you train that individual during their training period and get them set up," said Trent Wise, business services manager for OhioMeansJobs. "We cover all the bases in terms of recruiting, job posting, and even training the new hires that you may bring on."
"We work a lot with OhioMeansJobs - I'm an employer at Tuttle, so I have a pretty good feel for what they offer," said Brent Stechschulte, ALL Class of 2025. "(They have) a lot of good services, employment services, training people, helping us train our people, a lot of good stuff that they offer you."
The group, which tours and learns about different sectors of the local business world throughout the course, explored industries ranging from media to healthcare.
Officials emphasize the importance of closely listening to the changing needs of area industries. The next major project for OhioMeansJobs is the Spring Career Fair, scheduled for May, where at least 100 local employers will be present.
