BLUFFTON, Ohio – Bluffton University continues to grow its network of Corporate and Education Partnerships in the Midwest region. The university has entered into a partnership agreement with OhioGuidestone.
OhioGuidestone is a nonprofit headquartered in Berea, Ohio. With roots dating back to the 1860s as a German Methodist orphanage, OhioGuidestone has continually evolved to meet the needs of Ohio families. It offers comprehensive behavioral health and substance use services across the state, serving over 26,000 individuals annually. Focused on person-centered care, OhioGuidestone provides mental health counseling, addiction recovery, family support, and workforce development.
“We are excited about this new partnership with OhioGuidestone,” said Dr. Alex Sider, president of Bluffton University. “Bluffton’s commitment to academic excellence, community, and preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing world remains strong, and I am excited to work alongside our dedicated faculty, staff, and students as we continue to build upon this solid foundation.”
Bluffton’s Corporate Partner and Education Partner programs provide benefit-eligible employees and their immediate families a 20 percent tuition discount on graduate programs and a $1,000 grant in addition to exiting aid for undergraduate programs at Bluffton University. The discount is applied to both online and on-campus degree programs.

Founded in 1899, Bluffton University offers more than 90 programs of study for undergraduate students including nationally accredited programs in dietetics, education and social work. Adult and graduate programs are offered online and designed for working adults. Graduate programs are available in business administration (MBA), education (MAEd), social work (MSW), and nutrition and dietetics (MND). Bluffton graduates are prepared for life; 94 percent are employed, in graduate school or completing voluntary service within six months of graduation.
