ELIDA, Ohio (WLIO) – The Elida Bulldogs are lending an arm to help save a life.
The Elida FFA teamed up with Solvita Blood Center for a Blood Donor Day. Across the United States, hospitals and medical centers use an average of around 43,000 pints of blood daily. One donated pint can be used in three ways: red blood cells, platelets, and plasma. The Elida FFA continues to encourage fellow classmates to help fill that need.

“We just want to help people out, you know, do good things for the people in the community. And you know, just do good things for the school. Step up and help take care, just knowing that you can possibly save a life out there by just donating a little bit of your blood and time,” said Noah Jostpille, senior, Elida FFA.
The Elida FFA hosts two blood drives each year.
