LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - It's an opportunity for Lima residents to have their voices heard about what they want to see in the city.

The annual Community Needs Survey is active on the City of Lima's website and social media pages. They are asking people to take the brief survey that will help determine funding through the Community Development Block Grant program. Questions will cover housing, quality of life issues, jobs, and business.

City officials are encouraging you to take the time and take the survey.

"It helps us prioritize our community development block grant funding, what areas of the city to spend our money in, and also what type of projects to fund," said Michael McBeth, an associate planner with the City of Lima.

Last year the city received just over a million dollars in funding for more than a dozen projects. The survey will be available through April 18th and paper copies are available at the Municipal Building at 50 Town Square.
