LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A new event brought the Halloween spirit to downtown Lima.

Downtown Lima Inc. hosted its first-ever “Crawloween” Thursday night — an adult trick-or-treat experience through downtown businesses, bars and restaurants. Stops included local favorites like 318 Restaurant and Bar, The Met, Alter Ego Comics and Social House. Organizers say the goal is to show off improvements in the downtown Lima area.

“We’ve had such a great revitalization in downtown, and we have a lot of folks in our community who maybe haven’t been downtown to see it,” said Cricket Rodriguez, executive director of Downtown Lima Inc. “So if we can give them a special event to come down and participate in, and then also get to show off what we’ve been doing, we’re really excited to do that.”

If you missed the event, you can still vote for your favorite costume by visiting Downtown Lima Inc. on Facebook. Winners will be announced on Halloween.
