LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) -Â Eagle Point Ministries brought another party to the Pangle Pavilion, continuing to be a blessing to the Lima community by offering families a free day of fun, food, and giveaways.
Children enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the day, including food trucks, giant inflatables, and face painting. The excitement ramped up during the giveaways, where items like sports balls, bikes, scooters, and backpacks were raffled off. Eagle Point Ministries says they view these events as a way to show the community their support.
"The main thing is we want these kids to know that somebody loves them. I mean, this is a labor of love for all these all these men and women in the black shirts to come here and to minister these kids. This is our opportunity to be a blessing from the blessings that we have received," said Steve Doyle with Eagle Point Ministries.
The organization hopes to continue hosting events like this to remain a positive presence in the Lima community and extend their outreach.
