LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — FedEx is closing Ship Centers across the country, including its location in Lima.
In an email sent to customers, FedEx announced that its Ship Center on St. Johns Road will close on Aug. 1. The closure is part of a broader effort affecting Ship Centers nationwide.
News outlets across the United States have reported that FedEx facilities in their areas are also scheduled to close on the same date.
In the email, FedEx directed customers to its website to find alternative shipping locations. The company said customers can visit FedEx.com to locate nearby businesses and service centers in the Lima area that will continue to accept and ship FedEx packages.
